Halloween, Escape theme park

Today went to Escape theme park with Nelson and Xiulian after we arrived we met Leonard and his friend there. Don't really get the chance to play the ride because it was raining earlier on and the queue was very long. Going to sleep soon already, got to wake up early and work tomorrow.

I am very busy working until I don't even have the time to online and my face is growing more pimple with everyday makeup already ): Eye bag too. But I will update my twitter ok, in order to keep in touch I ask dad to come over to my work place today and buy me a new phone and sign a new line for internet usage. But I am not very happy about it, need to figure out so many things about that phone makes me feel very irritated. Batches of 50 to 100 women are kept in a closely guarded room, known as a "barracoon", stripped for inspection and displayed for auction. The Chinese are well known for their passion for food and for the early Chinese immigrants, food was one of the most important links they had with China. Within this exhibition area, there are interesting stories and facts about Chinese food.

En En's Kitchen

This is a replica of a typical traditional Chinese kitchen allowing visitors to interact with the various cooking utensils. Visitor will also be able to learn about the common ingredients used in cooking Chinese cuisine and touch, as well as smell the ingredients.

The Clan Hall

The stories of clans and associations from the closing chapter of the Chinese immigrants journey. This hall features articles and objects that belonged to various overseas and local clans and associations.

Mr Khoo Eng Lim, director of the School of the Humanities and Alternative Medicine, dismisses the ingredients as gimmicks.

Popular energy drinks here such as Red Bull and Shark contain only caffeine, sucrose or sugar and taurine, an amino acid that supposedly helps to improve athletic performance. He said while ginseng, ginkgo and horny goat weed were generally believed to increase mental alertness and boost energy, each ingredient comprises only 0.08 per cent of the drink.

'The distributors probably decided to hype it up so that people would buy it,' he said.

He has no idea what the remaining two ingredients, tribulus terrestris and L-Arginine, are and how they boost energy. Award-winning health website Mayoclinic.com says L-Arginine is an amino acid that supplements protein in the body. It is also used to treat erectile dysfunction as well as chest pains and clogged arteries. The website also claims that horny goat weed is known to possess aphrodisiacal properties.

Like Red Bull and Shark, Naughty G comes with a caution to drink no more than two cans a day. It also advises children, pregnant or lactating women, and those who have suffered from heart problems to abstain from the drink.Mr Khoo said that energy drinks usually boost blood circulation and speed up heart rates, which is not advisable for people with heart problems. Dr Stanley Liew, an endocrinologist at Raffles Hospital, said pregnant women should stay away from energy drinks because they could result in raised blood sugar levels that might lead to problems for the mother and baby. He said the claims of energy drinks that promise performance-enhancing effects are unproven. He added that energy drinks, which are high in caffeine and sugar, can cause insomnia, heart palpitations, nervousness and an elevation in blood pressure.

As for the mix of ingredients in Naughty G, he said: 'There is no robust scientific evidence to indicate that the ingredients are effective.'

The drink, which comes in four flavours - Original, Cola, Green Tea and Sugar- free, had no discernible effect on this reporter who does not drink coffee or tea.

Its recommended retail price is $3.10 and is available at major supermarkets, convenience stores, pharmacies and various restaurants and nightclubs. Close to 50,000 cans have been sold here since its launch in July. (Singapore)

Woke up around afternoon, I called dear to wake him up too but he went back to sleep again. When I've finish bathing I called back again, he said that there was a surprise for me. And yes, Singapore Flyer Haha. After preparing everything i went to Heatwave for a haircut and they gave me a temporary perm, Actually I reject it by saying "My hair so short perm also not nice one lor" And the stylish said give it a try so i gave it a try but like not nice. Went to Raffles city to meet Dear, TianHao and TianHao girlfriend Carolyn then we went to Marina square to wait for his friend Andy to come, upon his arrival we dine in at Xin wang Hongkong cafe. After eating Andy went off and we headed to the Singapore flyer. Took some photo on the flyer and the scenery at night was beautiful too, Headed home after that. And thanks dear for the flyer ride, I had fun too :D

Today morning Alice message me and asked me not to go to school because she did not went home last night and didn't get a chance to sleep, So she wanteed to find a place that have air-con and it's able to sleep.
Actually wanted to go to Toapayoh Macdonal but i suggest to go to Anchorvale community centre because i wanted to learn swimming Lol, And karen wanted to bath ma so we went there. Convient what, Alice can sleep and she can bath right?
So we met at my house MRT station, Marymount(Circle Line) and we went to sengkang and wanted to talk there because we still have alot of time what and our way there we saw a rotten watermelon with a lot of disgusting thing inside, After that Alice cannot take it already then i held a cab taxi by the company SMRT called Prestige and if you don't have much cash not matter what you must not get on that taxi their meter starting price is $5 so expensive still got don't know what charge somemore we travel only a short distant only like 2Lrt stops and it cost almost $10 already.
But after swimming we don't have anything to clean up our body, Not even a Towel, Soap, Shampoo or conditioner. But i bought Facial wash LOL, Then karen and me stood there and waited for ourselves to dry up naturally with the help of the hairdyer. Later we ate Macdonal at there, Their service very bad because i ordered Filet-O-Fish and added 2Cheese and they gave me one only and just now i shock because i thought the cashier key wrongly and sell me in a cheaper price Lol, In the end Karen overheard someone conversation say that there is a lunch discount.
Took the Lrt back home but the Lrt stuck there saying platform not in use so we loitered there we sat on the floor and i even sleep on the chair Lol. Later on Karen came my house and Alice went home, And we watched UP the movie at my house that movie not say very nice i rate it 2.5/5 Because their story line is shit :X

Science Centre

Lazy to blog so i will keep the post short, Today went Science center with Bernice, MaoQi and RuiMin around 2/3pm+ after that we went to the IMax theater for a simulator ride at around 6pm+ After that MaoQi went home and we headed to IMM and i accidentally poke a paper into an uncle eye, felt so guilty. After that we walk for awhile and find a place to eat and we went back to Jurong East to take the MRT, Bernice and RuiMin took the train home and stopped at Yishun station and i went to Ang Mo Kio to meet Janice went to K Pool with her and some people. Had supper with Janice, we ate Shaker fries Lol then went home at around 12am+

Met Alice early in the morning at Juntion8 and waited for Bernice, Farah and Zuraidah to change after, changing we walked to school.
Reach school already but we were late, all of them don't have detention expect for me. Sat in class until recess because we don't have any lesson, After recess we went down to the canteen to sat down at the chair because our form teacher was helping out for the event. Later Alice and me went up for the Project Runaway, So nervous and embarrassing Lol But when the Project Runaway has ended i am already late for my detention class luckily i can leave as the same time as the other people but Jaisree, Karen and Me need to clean/pack up the detention class before we can leave. Bernice waited for me to finish my detention, because we need to meet Gladys at Juntion8 so i went to the toilet to make up and change my clothes, After changing Bernice, Karen and me walked to Juntion8 and our way to meet Alice and Gladys we saw Jamie and RuiMin so we chat for awhile, Later on WeiMiao came and we accompany her to the Food court to watch her eat.
After that Bernice and me went to City hall while Karen headed home and the rest went somewhere else.
When we reach there we went to city link to look at some shoes boutique and went to Raffles City to meet her blog shop seller.
After she took her things we went to the Donuts factory to take away some donuts and went to MacDonald to eat.
After that we took the mrt home, and i kept playing her Ipod touch game called "Tap Tap Revolution2"

Finally got the chance to go to the swimming pool at Anchorvale community centre, So hard to find people there you know. Today i went there with Bernice and Ruimin and they teach me how to swim too but learn until my head and naval piercing pain because of the slide, when coming down the force very big and that yellow slide is very scary it make my heart drop. When we played the medium slide i screamed Lol very funny and i drank alot of pool water :O cause my mouth kept cannot close well. But before we went there we had lunch at Sakae sushi at Compass Point, when we finish swimming it rain and we went to Dhouby Ghuat to dine in at don't know what Hongkong cafe but i know today i ate a lot of rubbish. Photo are below but i didn't post all because some are corrupted, don't know why. I think my memory card spoil or what, because of dropping too much of my phone and i hope i can change a new phone with a better camera that has more then 3.2 Megapixel but it is a must to have Autofocus ( Like w995 Lol ) if not i won't even bother to use the camera on my phone unless i want to take important pictures or etc.

Last night couldn't sleep well, today morning around 8am+ baby called my phone and woke me up. Later chevy message me asking me to go bugis, suppose to meet chevy and her sister on 1.30pm at amk hub but i was late then i ask them to go there first and i reach there around 3pm+ walk around, ate kfc. And we bought a bag while her sister was in the toilet when paying i wanted to pay using nets because i was short of cash, and my card can't use i think bomb already. I only left $20 so chevy paid for me first, will return her on monday. These few days kept borrowing money from people, like very what ._. We took 851 home after that. Reached home unpacked my things and rest awhile, took money and went downstairs. Guess what i bought, AJIN-NO-MOTO! I thought it was going to be very expensive, how i know it's only $1.20 LOL

I added one spoon of ajinomoto into the canned pepsi, i used pepsi because i prefer pepsi then coke.

For me the drowsiness effect take place immediately after i have consume it, depends on how much you drink.
The taste of the drinks does not change much, but it became more bubbly then the gas inside the pepsi and it taste a bit of salty but the taste of the salt is not so obvious. And put your ear close to the drinks and listen closely, you will hear a pik-piak sound Lol
Note to people: If you people wanna try it don't add too much Ajinomoto or drink too much because it will cause death

On saturday Janice say we're going to meet everyday after school to study, I want to study maths because i don't want to fail my maths and i have not been touching it for 2year plus already :O I want to study my science too but science is not at important to me. I will try my best not to fail, so i must study. Today i exchange something from nelson Lol, He wanted to watch transformer very much so if he want me to accompany him to watch he must teach me maths. Hahaha! I must pass at least 3Subject for my N Level exam, My wish is to go to Simei ITE to take Beautician course

Cooking classes

Had an elective module which is junior chef this whole week, organize by my school. We learn the basic skill for cooking, baking, cookery etc. And we had a cooking test today to test our cooking skill. I team up with Bernice today because Alice is not present at school. And we had a hard time cooking because we are short handed and cannot cope well, I felt a bit frustrated at first and kept making the "Tsk" sound. We wanted to make chocolate cheese cake at first but we failed badly. So we continue with the masala baked chicken but it doesn't taste as good as Tuesday and the chicken is not well cooked too, I shall not blame the oven because we're lousy at cooking. But we had succeeded with two dishes which is the Tomato soup and Thai vermicelli salad(yum woon sen)

The is the outcome, it taste sour and spicy.

Our hand hurt while making this dishes, because bernice was cutting the chili padi and i was mixing the food. We added 10+ chili padi and cause our finger to become spicy.

While we're preparing the vermicelli I'm very frustrated, after boiling the vermicelli i ask Bernice to wash the vermicelli. Yes, she did it well but you know what? I ask her to put the vermicelli with a basket on top of the mixing bowl to drain the water and she poured onto the mixing bowl and i moved the mixing bowl away and i said "No!" and the vermicelli dropped in the sink :X we quickly took it out and put it onto the basket but the vermicelli was very hot, no choice we have to save it because we don't have any nice dishes. But she go dig the vermicelli inside the sink hole Lol. But we still got re-wash it, I know it's disgusting. After that i went do some things and Bernice was washing utensil, I went to Bernice and stand beside her to wash other utensil and when i was washing halfway she laughed. Then i ask her why she laugh, she say she thought of incident that we dropped the vermicelli inside the sink so she laughed.

Today went to Singapore boat festival, not what i expected to see there. When i look at the website it's like so much events is happening there, But when i'm there it's like the usual night at clarke quay. What i wanted is performance, But sad didn't see any. What i like is the C Clinic at the Cannery lane, we tried the X-Nurse's party and for me it taste like peach juice not much alcohol added in too. It's serve in a shooter that is what doctor use to perform an injection on you, a really cool way to drink it. Next time i gonna try out their Sex on the drip, Vodka Monin peach syrup which is serve in a blood bag. That place is really like a clinic, a place that you must visit. Pictures below, Enjoy.

Do you guys remember a previous ads from Nuffnang "Dove Thunder" on my blog?
I do click on my blog ads my own to see what's there, and they bought me to a dove website i explore it and i saw a link which they will give us their sample to try out which is absolutely free but we must provide our personal information like name, address etc. So i think why not give it a try anyway i don't need to spend even a cent on it and guess what? Today i receive their product packed in a white plastic in my mail box. And they packed it very tightly, cannot tear it apart so i've to use a scissor to cut it off. Look below, it's a 130ml sample Shampoo+Conditioner haven't tried using them yet. I guess i will use them if i am going to any chalet or swimming pool or whatever that require bathing. Dove shampoo is really good, they will keep your hair in shape and won't become oily after a long time unlike other shampoo. This is what i experience, i don't know you.

I'm going out now to the Singapore river festival, Friends rushing already Lol I'm already very very late.

Hi, I spend almost 3Hour on posting this.

Today morning woke up with menses, so unlucky. After preparing all these i went to meet Ruimin as Bernice is able to come with us because she fell down in the toilet and sprain her ankle ._. I left my house at around 5pm+ then i went back home again to shoe and left home after that went back again to change my top Lol, then my bag very big and heavy with a lot of rubbish so i went home again to change my bag. At last i went to the bus stop to wait for bus, After waiting for so long i realise that 162M first bus is at 1845 then i called Ruimin and i took a cab to pick her up around City hall then we went to the Singapore Flyer. First thing we do is to buy a ticket when we reach there, after buying it we went to the toilet. I was thirsty so i wanted to buy a bottle of mineral water, I saw this ice cream shop and i went ahead to ask the ice cream man weather is he selling mineral water a not. Our conversation is below, Very funny Lol

Me: Do you sell mineral water?
Ice-cream Man: Yes
Me: How much is it?
Ice-cream Man: $3.50
Me: Wa! So expensive I don't want to buy already LOL (Walks away)

After that we went to board the Singapore flyer and took some photos. After we alight we went to the Yakult Rainforest Discovery to take a stroll, I was thirsty haven't get to drink the mineral i wanted so we went to 7-11 and i bought a mineral water that cost $2.30 after we got out of 7-11 we pass by a toy Orang-utan(so called ah meng) and i took a picture with it. After taking photo while walking to the exit we saw a stand with a a lot of broaches with it then we took different kind of broaches(machiam like tourist) finish taking we were walking toward the taxi stand then I saw that ice cream man looking at me so i took out the mineral water i bought from 7-11 and i laughed. Later on we took a cab to Marina Barrage. I very excited when we reach there Lol, that place is beautiful and romantic but we never walk finish because it was very dark and the gallery was close. We took a walked on the water, then we saw something disgusting. Guess what? A dead frog, Eww! After that we went up to the rooftop, the way leading us up was very beautiful build ed with a lot of spots light on the grass. We went up and it's was very dark can't really see anything but we saw three guys flying kite up there and a lot of couples. That place is very deserted too, cannot find a way out luckily a taxi stop by us and fetch us to the nearest mrt that he knew. Took bus 57 to Toa payoh from there and we went to Mac Donal to eat because most of the shop have already close. Luckily i catch up with the last time and got home safely. And i tried so hard to save my handphone battery from going flat you know?! Yes, i would like to go there again with another person. Lol

White Patches on Throat / Strep throat

FYI: That is how my throat look like in the inside when i was having strep throat

Today felt very tired i think it's the symptoms of strep throat, morning i woke up with my throat feeling painful and unwell so i went to brush my teeth after went to bath while bathing i kept spitting my saliva and i found some white patches on the back of my throat so took a picture of it then i was very worried after bathing felt very hot and having a slight fever so went to take a nap after i woke up still feeling unwell ): I'm afraid of having throat infection and cancer(At first i thought it was that Lol, after the research i'm relive), but impossible is cancer la because i don't even smoke Lol. But very sad, i ask my parent what is that white patches on the back of my throat you know what they say? They said my throat is cause from my tongue piercing -.- ask me to take out my barbell. No way! From my point of view tongue piercing is not even related to back throat la. So no way i'm gonna remove my tongue piercing. And i'm asking them what is that white patches and they tell me to take out my tongue piercing? What is this?! -.- Don't know they say don't know why change subject i hate this you know? They ask me to seek for a doctor tomorrow and i don't even have money la. Yesterday after bernice hang up the phone beloved called me then i accidentally go press answer after that i very kan chiong Lol, luckily got voice to talk to him.

What i had occur is: Sore throat, Red throat, White patch in Throat(Very painful), Difficulty swallowing, Slight fever, Loss of appetite and Headache.

Note to people who had the same problem as me. Please do not take stuffs that contain acid, alcohol and chili. For me i avoid sweet stuff as well because it doesn't feel nice swallowing it.

But i still don't know how did my back of throat grow this kind of white patches i think it's because consuming of heavy alcoholic beverages. But you people still need to take care of your throat, body Etc. When your throat grow these white patch you will be having difficulty swallowing food that is very tough and the headaches will make you lose your mood.

Prevention
Most people with strep are contagious until they have been on antibiotics 24-48 hours. Thus, they should stay home from school, daycare, or work until they have been on antibiotics for at least a day.

Get a new toothbrush after you are no longer contagious, but before finishing the antibiotics. Otherwise the bacteria can live in the toothbrush and re-infect when the antibiotics are done. Also, keep your family's toothbrushes and utensils separate, unless they have been washed.

If repeated cases of strep still occur in a family, you might check to see if someone is a strep carrier. Carriers have strep in their throats, but the bacteria do not make them sick. Sometimes, treating them can prevent others from getting strep throat.

I can't fall asleep yesterday, feel very shag in the noon but i'm alright after a rest. Actually i wanted to take a nap, but when i wanted to sleep i got a tummy aches so i went to the toilet and tried to shit but i no energy to shit so i went back to the bed to lie down and i did the same thing continuously end up didn't sleep or shit. It has been two days i'm not sleeping already. I wanted to sleep but i'm not tired ): How? Cannot stop playing audition also, will try to sleep later on. Go to your restaurant and zoom out completely you will saw a stall outside your restaurant, Click on it and they will show you three random ingredients. They will change the three random ingredients everyday, but it's quite expensive for you to purchase it from there so only purchase it from the npc if you're rich enough. The stall outside your restaurant doesn't apply to everyone so don't be disappointed if you don't see them, i think you need to attain certain level to get that stall outisde your restaurant.

I played audition at from 3am+ until now and the time is going 9.30am already, i'm going to play audition since i'm bored but in appearing offline mode of course. Gain alot of things today, earn alot of dens in Beat Rush Battle Party mode but i'm not so good with that mode i'm slow on that. Did my story #60 too thanks to -Alyissia-, -Syao, angel_dreams, eViLz, Min and Rockstar_DJ for helping out but i didn't finish doing that mission, will complete it at night. Went to play Dee bee4 after that it was fun playing with those girl, forget their ign :X Played until hand cramp and i'm tired already so took a rest and came here to blog after that i'm going to bath and eat my breakfast and go to bed, very sleepy now feeling shaggy and have the sticky feeling on my hand and my face surface like oily cannot take it feels irritated. Lost my audition skill compared from now and last time, must play until my skill is back but whenever i start talking in there i cannot concentrate on playing. I am addicted to the song One by Epik High cannot stop listening to it. Heard nightkids story, a very sad one but i can't do anything to help. Wait till 1.07pm before i've run out of energy, i'm going to sleep now bye. Guess i would wake up after 3hour of sleep to feed my worker in restuarant city at facebook bah and then i'll bath again then play audition.

Woke up at 12noon went to bath and prepare after that left house, around 2pm+ i left house and went to bus stop actually wanted to take bus 162M to marina square and meet leonard, marcus and nelson then after waiting for the bus for a long time i realize that bus 162M first bus is at 4pm+ then i took 410 to bishan mrt to meet them and took train to city hall station then walk to marina square. When we reach there the first place we go is heatwave because nelson wanted to cut his hair so we accompany him there before going to vivo city to meet others, while nelson was cutting hair we wait for edwin to arrive. Then very funny, got one hairstylist sit on the chair arm then he almost fell down then i kept laughing at him Lol. After edwin arrive we left marina square and headed to vivo city.

Edwin ask us how to pronounce the word on top "Groove Nation" after that he wanted to take photo under that word. Marina square damn cold luckily i got a think coat with me. When we reach vivo city already we head to the Earle Swensens to meet other, All are schoolmate there's around 40people there lazy to name out all. And thanks to rafidah for treating us dinner. After eating dinner bernice and zuraidah went breaktalk to buy a birthday cake for marcus and yati, and i ask ruimin to accompany me to 7-11 and guess what i bought.

This is it, i spend $60+ on this. Can give me pierce belly already ._. One bottle is unsealed, But why is the pink one for women only? Curious. After buying we went to the vivo city rooftop to gather with classmate and they sang a birthday song, ate cake and took some photos. We walk separate way after that, Alice, Bernice, Edwin, Leonard, Marcus, Nelson, Rafidah, Ruimin and Me went into the National Geographic for a walk a look what we found.

When I was inside, it was not as cold as i thought. But starting abit chill because can't get used to the big wind yet and it was blowing heavily. There is a screen showing our body temperature behind where we were standing.

This was taken inside doubhy guat mrt, when edwin was calling me to take picture of them it gave me a shock. I was listening to what bernice was talking and suddenly alice squat on the floor and edwin standing at the monster there and shouted my name then it scared me i thought there was a incest around or what so i scream and they laugh at me. But edwin wanted to take a picture only. We went to Far east shopping centre at orchard to play billiard and went home after that. I belive it's true after i've done a research on the internet. But just becareful, even for people not staying around my area. But why would a person buy so much newspaper and alert us? Maybe that person is too rich or that person has been conned by them before. But which news is that person referring us to becareful? Maybe it's the conned case because the rapist is already in jail. SINGAPORE: He made sexual advances on his flatmate and when he was ignored, he pulled her into his room and raped her.

For rape and another charge of voluntarily causing hurt to a 50-year-old man, K Mahendran was on Monday sentenced to eight years and two weeks in jail and 10 strokes of the cane.

The court heard that the rape victim, a 25-year-old woman from China, had arrived in Singapore on March 26 last year on a social visit pass to see a friend. She stayed at the friend's house, but after the two had a quarrel, she left and rented a bed in a room at No. 10, Lorong 14 Geylang.

Mahendran, 41, was staying in a rented room in the same house.

On June 2, the victim went to the balcony to check if her laundry had dried. She saw Mahendran, with only a towel wrapped around his lower body, waving to her and saying "Oei, oei".

She did not understand what he was saying and said "No, no" and went back to her room. Later in the afternoon, when the victim opened her room door to go out for lunch, Mahendran pulled her into his room and forced himself on her.

After the rape, the victim called the police and Mahendran was arrested.

The court also heard that on the afternoon of Aug 13 last year, Mahendran had engaged the services of a prostitute and both had consensual sex in Amrise Hotel in Geylang, after which he fell asleep.

The prostitute approached a cleaner at the hotel, Mr Peh Eng Seng, for help to wake Mahendran up.

When Mahendran saw Mr Peh, he pulled out his identity card from his wallet and repeatedly stated that he was a Singaporean. He then punched Mr Peh's forehead. The 50-year-old cleaner reported the matter to the hotel counter staff, who called the police and handed Mahendran to them.

Mahendran, who was unrepresented, told Justice Kan Ting Chiu in mitigation that he regretted his actions and pleaded for leniency.

Con artist jailed but victims still suffering

A 27-YEAR-OLD man is now $14,000 poorer - the result of having been taken in by a well-dressed, glib con artist.

Identifying himself only as Mr Shamuganathan, he said he first parked $4,000 with the 51-year-old woman, known to him as Meenatchi Velu, in October 2007. Within six weeks, he received his first payout of $2,000.

Enticed, he quit his job and set up a company last May to deal directly with his 'investments' through her.

She had persuaded him three months earlier to start the company, which she said was to deal with the import and export of raw materials from Dubai.

'She told me I was an honest man and she hoped to see me do better in life,' he said.

Seeing first-hand how he had benefited from the investments, he convinced his friends to invest almost $300,000 with Meenatchi as well. A few months later, she vanished, leaving Mr Shamuganathan - now jobless - to deal with the consequences. He made a police report but realised that Meenatchi was not even the real name of the woman, whom he had come to know through a friend.

He spent the next six months hunting her down, and eventually found her in Marsiling. He then set the police on her.

Her real name - Pasupathi Bavani Ammal - has since come to light. Last Friday, she was jailed 12 years for cheating. She is no newcomer to the inside of a prison cell. She was jailed in 1996 for half a year and in 1999 for six years for conning a total of 25 people out of almost $1.1 million.

Between 2005 and last year, she duped 13 people into handing over $1.4 million as 'investments' in oil.

In her latest scam, most of her victims - like Mr Shamuganathan - hardly knew her, yet handed her their money as they were taken in by her show of wealth.

She was always clad in high-end clothes. Another victim, Mr Siva Kumar Steven Samuel Selvaraj, 35, said he was impressed by the cash she had on her.

He said: 'It's not often that you see people holding on to thousands of dollars in cash, and it made me believe her.'

Like the other victims, he said he was seduced by the idea of quick returns amounting to about half the capital placed with her. He, too, roped in his friends and relatives, who also started placing money with her.

'She said if we put in more, we could make more,' said the technical executive officer. He gave her almost $200,000 in 2005.

While she sits out her time behind bars, her victims are still struggling. Many turned over their life savings to the con artist, and are unable to recover all of what they had 'invested' with her.

Monetary losses aside, relationships have frayed, especially ties with those people the victims had roped into the scheme. In Mr Shamuganathan's case, Pasupathi pulled her disappearing act just five days before his wedding. Faced with angry investors, including two who threatened to wreck the solemnisation ceremony, he was forced to call off his nuptials.

'I was in so much trouble, it would have been selfish of me to carry on with my personal life. I needed to sort out my problems first. I wanted to look for her for the sake of everyone who gave me their money,' he said.

His father, deeply distressed by the matter, died last October after a massive heart attack. With the case closed, the first order of business for Mr Shamuganathan is to look for a job.

Even after Pasupathi's conviction, he still wants her to be accountable for the victims' money.

'I would like to sincerely apologise to my father, family, my fiancee, her family and my friends for putting them through so much distress, which led to them losing their trust in me,' he said.

Why eat sprout?

Early morning around 8am+ my mother went to take away hokkien mee for me but at that time i'm not hungry so i wait till now then eat. Anyway i'm bored after surfing the internet for so many hours, i tried to take a nap but i can't seems to be falling asleep so i pick out the bean sprout in the hokkien mee before i took them to fry it hot and eat because i don't like them, i don't eat vegetables okay.

But why eat sprout? This is what i know. They carry plenty of vitamins, minerals, proteins, and enzymes, all necessary for the body to function optimally. In addition to providing the greatest amount of these nutrients, sprouts deliver them in a form that is easily digested and assimilated. In fact, they improve the efficiency of digestion. Heard people says sprouts are also deliciously but i'll never eat it, but i'll just stuff it into my mouth when i have no choice and i'm very hungry.

Sprouts are very inexpensive means cheap Lol, they are always fresh and they won't stop growing until you chew on them and have the potential to help solve hunger and malnutrition problems in developing countries, because they are so rich in nutrients, affordable, and easy to transport before sprouting. Some aunties/uncle purposely add alot of bean sprout because they wanted to close their stall early when they have no more food to cook. This is what i don't like about them, Can't they just keep the sprout for tomorrow then giving them to someone that dislike sprout and will throw them away. Cheap mean can waste meh? Some other country don't even have sufficient food to eat. Maybe my thinking is wrong, they are not wasting it but they just don't know how to fry them without adding bean sprout, you know why? Because without bean sprout the noodle will stick to the cooking pan, so noob don't know how to cook well some shop will not add them if i request to but some just want to add it they will tell you they don't cook without bean sprout or they don't know how to but also no need to add so much until one bowl of vegetable what make me spend more then 1hour to pick them out but i did a good job okay(: i sort out the noodles, seafood and the vegetable nicely. Must remember too much healthy food are bad for your body too, so don't eat take too much of them, must eat snacks as well :x I know i'm being bad complaining about useless stuff like this just because i don't eat them.

I know this post is boring but i've nothing to blog about so i just blog about sprout for today, one main reason is i want to get rid of the post below because that picture stands alot of space and ruin my blog layout. That's all for today i'm going to fry my food now, i'm very hungry already. Maybe will try to take an afternoon nap after eating somemore now suddenly got heavy rain without any thunder and lighting to alert me first, luckily i just bring in the clothes into my house if not the washed cloth would be drench. Currently trying out this Opera Browser so i'm writing a review. I'm satisfied with the fullscreen mode because it's really fullscreen that cover everything and show the web you're surfing only and the scrollbar cannot be seen in fullscreen mode but you still can scroll and i like the scrolling effect, opera gives you the best viewing experience. There are widgets too, you can view it here. This browser is not so laggy and it load thing fast, i'll take restaurant city as an example, Normally when loading restaurant city using IE/FF it load very long sometimes can't get in too. When you hover your cursor to the tab bar you can see an images preview of other tab bar you're not working on. But there are disadvantage of this browser too, like when you're blogging you can't drag and drop the image or words and many more. Try it out, Download link is below. I'll sleep during tomorrow exam

School end at 9.05am today because of exam bernice came my house after dismissal, wait for me to prepare finish we went bugis to eat sakae sushi while waiting for alice, gladys and karen to come. Ate alot of things but didn't order any sushi. When we finish eating we went for a walk while waiting nelson to come, then alice was angry about karen cause she accidentally bang on her severely. Alice walked away and we waited for nelson to come, when he met us he was with alice then bernice and gladys very shock Lol. We intend to buy bags but didn't saw any that we fancy. Took a walk at bugis juntion and bernice went into the shop "newurbanmale" then i was touching the floor because when i step on it the texture was nice i wanted to ask bernice to touch then i saw her looking at the guy working there and she kept smiling Lol when we walked out of the shop she almost fell down at the staircase while heading up. Gladys went home after that then left alice, bernice, karen, nelson and me. Went to the mrt to take a train to city hall and alice said then she's going home then bernice huh until so loud damn funny after that the train came then alot of people and we walked to some where that is empty but the door was closing and i wanted to walk in then bernice reaction very big she kept shouting "don't don't!" LOL she scare trap in the middle la, very funny most of the passenger in the train kept looking at us. Got down at city hall said goodbye to alice and we went to take a walk nearby and bought something dine in at the donuts factory and drank coffee at starbucks. Bernice and me wanted to look at lingerie then nelson don't want go in the shop i think he embarrass and i think he was bored then he called marcus i not sure about this, then he found out that both of them are at the same place and i was thinking that marcus sure very happy to see his best friend one. While we was looking at the lingerie heard someone calling us and it sounds like marcus, we take a look at that person and it was really marcus Lol karen say marcus chubby after that marcus and nelson went to look at some models and we went to look at bikinis. Said goodbye to marcus and we went off, we walk the wrong way because i remember there's a lift around the place that sells IT stuffs then walk until a place that have alot of wall and doors, most of the door indicate something like the country/region names then nelson point infront i though there was a ghost around there i was scare and shouted Lol then we run away and nelson laughed at us because that road was like an alley, quite and scary. While we was on our way leaving suntec city bernice wanted to use her finger and make the snaping sound then she succeed already and wanted to show me, i was walking behind her and she suddenly turn around without tell me and she use her finger to snap infront of my face i though what was she holding and i got scared so i shouted and step back, people walking were looking at us Lol they tought what had happen. Went to esplanade and took bus home, i thought there were bus 167 and i didn't know there was bus for karen to go home when we reach the bus stop we there don't have bus 167 and bernice don't belive then kept looking at the bus notice board so funny then there have bus for karen and both of them took the same bus to yishun interchange to change another bus home. Before that bus 171 came and the bus driver didn't see bernice standing there so he drive off to another lane and bernice stood there and shake her hands and leg so funny Lol actually the driver wanted to stop for her then she run and karen ran there and said bye to us we replied, but the bus didn't stop for them Lol and she walked back so funny, she said that bus so empty and some more is new one. After that another bus of theirs came and they was very happy said bye to us and went on board, left nelson and me. He waited for his bus 57 and my 162m but he went off first left me alone but i have my headphone on and listen to song, my bus came already i went aboard and fall asleep luckily i didn't sit over stop if not i would be lazy to go home already. Today rafidah, ruimin didn't come not as fun as that time but still fun. Janice is actually coming too but she went home after school. Rafidah was sick D: Ruimin said not today, sad.

While surfing the internet i stopped at sgblogawards.omy.sg and saw banner quite cute so i click on it and it bought me to meetoto.com it's a game that can give people to show their singing talent so i register and tried it out. Sang the song 说好的幸福呢 - 周杰伦 and gotten 80meeCoins and got invited to a family, but i don't know what is the family for. Some people cried while singing, there's people with sweet voice also, envy them. I want more score to get more meeCoins hehe. Will try it out some other time when i'm free, do play it too. There are alot of malaysian playing this game (:

Played 2hour and earn a total of 940meeCoins gotten alot of spam too, but nevermind :D It's is getting late already 1am le and i'm going to bed now tomorrow then explore the game more, tomorrow having computer application exam so have to wake up at 5.40am after exam going bugis with friends :D same old people as thursday Hehe. Cannot be tired tomorrow ah!
